Parents and students,
Our second test of the 9 weeks, Ch. 7 Cell Structure & Function, will be tomorrow September 29, 2009. Students, please go over all material, such as notes, worksheets, diagrams, etc. Parents, please encourage your child to review his/her material. We have been in this chapter for a solid three weeks, and your child has had plenty of time to prepare. We’re almost at the end of the 9 weeks, so let’s make sure we finish strong!

My name is Ms. Burton, and I am currently a 9th Grade Biology Teacher in the marvelous Freshman Academy at Southwind High School. I look forward to working with all of my students, as we explore the living world of science. Weekly, I will post all assignments and briefly outline the upcoming agenda. Also, look for daily posts, to remind students of important dates pertaining to tests, quizzes, or schedule conflicts/changes.
